HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: I am an indoorsy type if there is such a thing

enjoy the art scene downtown, cool dive bars and eating in restaurants, my
favorite foods being seafood, Thai food, and interesting salads, and
Indian….the list goes on, as long as I am not cooking! I like working out,
shopping in vintage stores, and making new friends. If I have enough time, I do
graphic abstract art, and I have sold about 20 drawings.
FAVORITE BOOKS: The alchemist, Plum Sykes’ The Bergdorf Blondes, Carlos
Castaneda The teachings of Don Juan, a Yaqui way of knowledge, Colin Wilson’s
Mysteries, Richard Bach’s A Bridge Across Forever, and Olivia Goldsmith Flavor
of the month. I love books related on metaphysical topics, and also anything
written by Sydney Sheldon!
FAVORITE MOVIES: the older version of Hairspray (Ricki Lake is awesome!),
Groundhog Day, Passenger 57, A beautiful mind, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pretty
woman, and cocktail!
FAVORITE MUSIC: I like vocal trance, Shiny Toy Guns, The Sounds. I also like
90’s r and b, and 80’s tunes…..and in sparing amounts, disco!
FAVORITE TV SHOW: Seinfeld, golden girls (of course know the reruns!),
Heroes, Journeyman, I admit it some reality! American Idol auditions, and
Americas Next Top Model.
ABOUT ME: I am born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Gainesville,
Florida when I was almost 3. I have an older brother named Erik. I spent most
of my childhood and teen years as a competitive gymnast, and traveled to Europe
in the summers with my family, because my Dad, who was a chemistry professor,
went to chemistry conventions. I am a graduate from the university of Minnesota
with a bachelor of science in Retail Merchandising, and I have a Graduate
Gemologist diploma from GIA, both received in 2002.
